Mote is like the gyaruo version of seiso gyaru. Their fashion is very toned down and preppy, the hair isn't really sujimori, and their tan is very light. It's basically the last standing trend of heisei gyaruo, since it melted easily into regular fashion even as the gyaruo trend fell out of style. The label mote indicates a fashion that is 'popular with women'.
