AV Gyaruo

AV gyaruo is interesting, because Okada Hiroki was allegedly fired around 2010-2011 for appearing in JGV after becoming a model and editor in chief at Men's Egg. I want to read more into it... I found a translated interview from Men's Egg in 2009 with Sho, Nagi and Hikaru - three very popular actors. But I only had Men's Egg February 2009 on hand. I found a street snap and editorial shot of Sho and also Hikaru (listed there as 22 year old Shoichiro Kuroda - it make sense if he was 18 in 2005 when he filmed his first movies).

2000

There's an interview with male JAV actor Chocoball Mukai, the highest paid AV actor ever in Men's Egg June 2000. So unless there was a serious cultural shift at the company between then and Okada getting fired, we can only assume Okada was fired for doing gay movies. While Mukai isn't gyaruo himself, I'm including it here as part of my research into the culture and ethics at Egg.

2006

Hikaru and Sho's first movie together was released in February.

2007

Hikaru's last movie was filmed in September.

2008

I think this is when Hikaru appears in Men's Egg Hairs - making his Men's Egg debut. I've also seen Sho appear in some issues from this year.

2009

Sho and Hikaru appear as Men's Egg reader models in February.

2010-2011

Hikaru was allegedly fired from Men's Egg.
